COVID-19 has brought with it many challenges. This is reflected in the changes we will be making to the way interact with the students in our care and how they will interact with each other. Some changes will be inconvenient, but the following guidelines, as recommended by the CDC and other public health officials, will allow us to continue our educational journey as safely as possible.

Temperature Checks will be performed on entry at the start of day (students and teachers.)

Mask REQUIRED during entry or in transition (Masks in Motion.)

Masks will not be required when seated at assigned tables during “work” times.

Teachers will wear masks at ALL times.

15 person room maximum (including teachers).

2 students per 6 foot table (sitting on opposite sides.)

ALL visitors must wear a mask when entering building.

No visitors will be allowed past entry during school hours (parents and siblings included.)

No “Free play” centers or large groups.

No Free play outside (Organized play will be planned/structured for safety. )

No hugging or handshaking (We will come up with new fun ways to greet each other.)

No outside toys will be allowed.

No free kitchen use (students will be able to use the kitchen individually.)

All students will have individual supply boxes. Materials will not be shared.

There will be no tangible sharing to minimize germ transfer.

Holiday, birthday parties, etc. will be for students only. No guests.

Unfortunately, until further notice, no after-care will be available.
